MR>Pokémon ;)
Monsters feel more personal as you raise them from birth to death. We need more MR and less Pokemon.
Not my real account anymore, use it for forums while I work
You might also know me as "Thisisnotmyrealaccount" to which I forgot the E-mail for.

Easy, Pokemon world please!

I'll just have a Growlithe farm and jump on Snorlax's tummy.

Or Ni No Kuni is another one I wouldn't mind living in, can't go wrong in a world designed by Studio Ghibli.

This. Pokemon is overall a fairly peacable world, with the exception of Team Rocket and other similars. Even then, those seem to be few and far between and leave most of the populace alone. The only part that's messed up is sending a 10 year old to travel the world and live on their own, like they are going to college 8 years early or something.

Peaceable? What about forcing animals to battle each other for your entertainment or to assert your dominance on other "trainers"? What about going around capturing actual gods and imprisoning them in a tiny ball for the rest of their lives? And then putting the ball on a shelf somewhere to never let them see the light of day again because you found a more powerful slave in the meantime. The Team Rocket are actually the good guys in that scenario.
Not to mention that the Pokémon Lab could resuscitate Cubone's mum using her skull if they wanted to, but prefer to let him cry himself to sleep every night.

Sure, there are issue with how it is presented, I agree. But let's take a couple of concepts here. Aside from traveling when they are stored in pokeballs (which considering size etc, we must assume there is either stasis, which wouldn't make sense as mons can break free, or spatial distortion. i.e. more space on the inside than on the outside, in which case being "stuffed" in might not be accurate. I like to thing by using Ultra Balls I'm giving the Mon a ranchhouse rather than a 1-bedroom apartment.) So dealing with leaving pokemon behind, general lore is that they are transfered and stay at ranches or some sort. Also consider that most people you run into have 0-3 pokemon. As the story we follow is by and large the extraordinary tale of a young trainer dealing with other extra ordinary trainers you must base your ideas of the world on the small conversations. The pokemon are intended to be more "mans best friend" type of relation rather than dog fighting slaves.

Monster Ranch is also good though.

@Melissa
Shadowrun is a super violent world, cool yes, but I don't think I'd want to live in it permanently.
As for a 3D based Pokemon...that would be incredible.
Poke balls heal Pokemon? They are freaking high inside that ball.

For me it would have to be the .hack//G.U Series but if it has to be 1 out of the three i'd choose .hack//G.U. Vol.3//Redemption has always been my favorite game since the day i've played it and just enjoy everything about it the music, the characters, the guild shops the fact there's a fake forum / news videos on it with rumors that leads to mini boss fights and some cool stories

Tho I'd prefer not to fight any AIDA 0/10 does not seem safe.
