![]() What's not to like about Tristram? No crime, no problems except the occasional tainted fountain, and when the water's bad you always have a a tavern that's never so crowded you have to wait for a frosty mug. Whether you like Naughty (Adria) or Nice (Gillian), Burly (Griswold) or Educated (Cain) Tristram's got it. There's a healer if you get sick and an ever willing drinking buddy, and the only obnoxious kid stays on the edge of town. As long as you have a potion to click on, you can make all the money you need and if you're going to have to listen to one background song over and over, this is probably the best one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU9TN4CTAJ0 Piety's story http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2081910

" :'D __ If I really had to choose I think I'd just live in one of those peaceful small villages I encountered in many RPG's I played when I was a child/teen. Probably something like Mabe Village in Link's Awakening, although I don't want to be doomed playing the ball till the end of times like the two children at the entrance.

Easy, Pokemon world please!
I'll just have a Growlithe farm and jump on Snorlax's tummy. Or Ni No Kuni is another one I wouldn't mind living in, can't go wrong in a world designed by Studio Ghibli. |

" We're dealing with some level of desynch all the time actually, since our neural network isn't exactly ftl. So don't worry about it, it isn't going to add more ibs than it already has. " Free will is an illusion anyway. I fail to see why coming to terms with this would be "field day worthy", especially since it doesn't require us to be small scale reality warpers (as possessing proper free will would). Unless of course, I'm missing the point. It really wouldn't be the first time. You won't get no glory on that side of the hole.

" I agree free will doesn't exist. Our choices are largely determined by our biological, environmental and economical circumstances. But my comment you commented on wasn't meant to be taken seriously, though it's interesting that it was. I bet a therapist would have a... oh wait. ;) |

Definitely Kanto/Hoenn, or Azeroth. Even being an NPC in either of these worlds would be super-fun, although I'm pretty happy where I am too.

" What if you Dovasneeze though? Everything in your house will be wrecked, the dog will be crippled and Lydia will ask for a divorce. Piety's story http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2081910

" One man's personal catastrophe is another man's exiting adventure module. You won't get no glory on that side of the hole.
