I chanced a soul taker when it was relavent and it took my build, which was the only serious one i had at the time, to the next level and in to maps which were kicking my ass back then. If i hadnt of gotten it I wouldve given up on this game and would have 2000 hours of my life back.
Honestly i was pissed that a guy paid so much money to gate his unique away behind such a high level requirement, but if you look at it as a chance only unique like the new flask that is div card only, it gives a pretty good use for chance orbs. Sorcerer boots are the only base i bother chancing anymore, everything else feels like a waste. | |

ive chanced 2 pairs of skyforth with about 30ex worth of chance/scours..
sold the 2 pairs of boots for roughly 225 ex.. so almost a pure profit of 200ex.. I understand I was a bit lucky, but I do agree its always a good idea to chance these boots. They are selling for such a high price.. 99/100 ppl chancing these will make good profit. do what you want to the girl, but leave me alone.

^^ its hard to say since the odds of chancing arent known. but i would say your prob right and skyforth seem like one of the few things left worth chancing, maybe the only thing aside from some legacy items.

Same thing happened when that hall of Grandmaster map first came out. Somehow chanced it within the first 10 minutes and sold it for 2ex.
