BSoD W/ PoE Causing Dmg To Hardware ??(Updated:Reinstalling Patch Error Causes BSoD, Pix Inside)
Okay so this problem has been on going for about two weeks now. The past 2-3 days it's just been horrible. It used to only happen during evenings and I assumed it was my graphics card over heating or something but as of today it seems to be happening w/e it wants. I tried a system restore didnt work. I updated my drivers and that doesnt work. I've lowered my graphic settings to the lowest possible and that doesnt work. My only option left now is to reformat. I played in cb for about 1-2 weeks with no problems. This started occuring after about the first week of OB and has become increasingly frequent as the days go on.
I'm not sure it's my PC anymore because i'm able to run all my other games perfectly fine. I did a test with BF3 today running it at highest settings for 2hours and although I had fun I much have rather been playing PoE. I should also note the my computer is only about 5-6months old now. It's a BSoD in otherwords it's a "stop-error" which basically it'll continue crashing your computer.
(Since i'm really no expert) i can't give much on the subject other then it's basically "clashing with something inside the data and your computer detects on it, and "stops" it from being damaged by shutting it down (i think that's the only way of it being said) It just started happening to me as of today and has gotten a lot lot worse, that i'm going to do a re-install of the game and see if it fixes the issue If it persists after re-installation i'm just going to quit, it doesn't happen anywhere else and i'm not risking death because the developers can't fix their game. I don't care what the world says.
I'll love you lauren for the rest of my life. Fuck the haters. |

Edit: also i feel sorry that you had to reboot/such that's a hassle so many folders lost (hopefully you backed them up) I don't care what the world says. I'll love you lauren for the rest of my life. Fuck the haters. Last edited by 0Radius#3179 on Feb 16, 2013, 10:39:58 PM

am i correct in saying that this is damaging my computer ???
Just today I became very worried that something became damaged when my computer was restarting it didnt load anything on my screen. I did a hard reset and the first thing I see is the loading screen covering in red fuzz and then screen went black. I began to assume it was my graphics card that is at true fault but after 10minutes or so I tried again and it ran smoothly and decided to do the BF3 test to ensure myself that it really wasnt the card at fault and it ran fine for 2hours and finished the campaign |

still trying to find a solution. anyone have any idea what the error means ????
also if some1 could answer my question on whether these BSoD's are dmg my hardware Last edited by Obstikal555#7388 on Feb 17, 2013, 9:24:32 AM

I was getting PC freezes while playing PoE, had to hard reset pc (ctrl alt del not working), and my GPU / Rams not recognized clearly at the start after hard resets. Had to wait power off for about 5 10mins to pc succesfully start. I checked all rams , gpu cpu stress tests (over 2h), checked bios options , new bioses. Everything was OK. And......
...... it turned out that my Mouse causing this, cause of bad cable... I wasnt getting any BSODs, it was just my pc Freezes and unable to start pc for a while, 5-10mins, was getting always LONG bios BEEPS, like Long - Long - Long - .... Bios beep guides tell me GPU problem. But , it turned out a mouse cable USB problem. So .... Here BSOD codes and why it happens to help people getting BSODs : (also you guys want to use software WHOCRASHED for bsod codes and debuging.

Well I had nothing better to do so I thought I would list all the BSOD codes and what to do about them for OCing:
I7 x58 0x101 = increase vcore 0x124 = increase/decrease vcore or QPI/VTT...have to test to see which one it is 0x0A = unstable RAM/IMC, increase QPI first, if that doesn't work increase vcore 0x1A = Memory management error. It usually means a bad stick of Ram. Test with Memtest or whatever you prefer. Try raising your Ram voltage. Can also mean more juice for the south bridge ICH volts 0x1E = increase vcore, or lower RAM frequency/ increase RAM voltage 0x3B = increase vcore, or lower RAM frequency/ increase RAM voltage 0x3D = increase vcore 0xD1 = QPI/VTT, increase/decrease as necessary 0x9C = QPI/VTT most likely, but increasing vcore has helped in some instances 0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency or uncore multi unstable, increase RAM voltage or adjust QPI/VTT, or lower uncore if you're higher than 2x 0x116 = Low IOH (NB) voltage, GPU issue (most common when running multi-GPU/overclocking GPU) 0x00000109 = Not enough or too Much memory voltage 0x7E = Corrupted OS file, possibly from overclocking. Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r 0x24 = Disk corruption (Did you OC the PCI-E bus?) 0x19: memory voltage LGA 1155 Sandy Bridge BSOD Codes for SandyBridge 0x124 = add/remove vcore or QPI/VTT voltage (usually Vcore, once it was QPI/VTT) 0x101 = add more vcore 0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency add DDR3 voltage or add QPI/VTT 0x1E = add more vcore 0x3B = add more vcore 0xD1 = add QPI/VTT voltage 0x9C = QPI/VTT most likely, but increasing vcore has helped in some instances 0X109 = add DDR3 voltage 0x0A = add QPI/VTT voltage 0x1A = Memory management error. It usually means a bad stick of Ram. Test with Memtest or whatever you prefer. Try raising your Ram voltage. Can also mean more juice for the south bridge ICH volts 0x19: memory voltage = LGA 775 0x101 = increase vcore 0x124 = increase/decrease vcore or VTT 0x0A = unstable RAM/NB, increase NB/VTT first, if that doesn't work increase vcore 0x1E = increase vcore, or lower RAM frequency/ increase RAM voltage 0x3B = increase vcore, or lower RAM frequency/ increase RAM voltage 0xD1 = VTT, increase/decrease as necessary 0x9C = VTT most likely, but increasing vcore has helped in some instances 0x00000109 = Not enough or too Much memory voltage 0x1A = Memory management error. It usually means a bad stick of Ram. Test with Memtest or whatever you prefer. Try raising your Ram voltage. Can also mean more juice for the south bridge ICH volts 0x19: memory voltage AMD (This is new, if you have any codes or experiences with AMD and BSODs post the codes here and I will update the OP)] 0x124= Add more vcore 0x19: memory voltage Last edited by Spitneybears#0754 on Feb 17, 2013, 10:05:54 AM

How do I find out my BSoD code ??
I keep getting it now when I try patching the game. I did a reinstall last night and it didnt let me get through the patch and gave BSoD Same thing this morning. The Exe file wasnt working so I had to reinstall and then once again during patching the same error as before pops up and gave me BSoD |

What are you using for a hard disk? The error status message is telling you there is an I/O issue.

" use this program WHOCRASHED > http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed Make sure Write debugging information is set correctly, at desktop right click "My Computer" , left side "Advanced system settings" > Advanced tab > Startup and recovery > settings > check picture to configure "System failure" section as in picture. >>> http://www.abload.de/img/bsod_whocrashed_confiuqqlv.jpg So everytime you get a BSOD, pc will auto restart and when you are in windows , open WHOCRASHED prgram and press ANALYZE, scroll down the section "Crash Dump Analysis" . it will give you BSOD COde + what caused it, and then check the BSOD CODES and solutions that i gave before. Hope this helps. Last edited by Spitneybears#0754 on Feb 17, 2013, 10:38:28 AM
