How similar is this to Diablo2/LoD

If you plan to play together with multiple friends, you'll need good computers and/or be selective about the skills (spells and attacks) you use.
Other than that, it's the closest thing to D2 that you'll find. It's far more complex in some ways, and frequently better than D2, though there are aspects that D2 did much better: self-found playstyle worked better in D2, targeting farming was a thing, it had fewer one-hit-kill situations, it was a more predictable slot machine, and it was more accessible (D3 does that well). Overall I feel that PoE has by now surpassed D2 and is the better game. | |

Similar type of game and baseline, but make no mistake, PoE is its own beast
