It would work perfectly fine as a templar.

As a Scion you'd also be fairly close from another cluster of duration.


As for what gem to remove in a 5L it's a toss up between lightning pen and duration. Lightning pen is a ton of damage, but duration is really useful for bosses and mapping in general.

So pierce isn't essential? I'm leveling with a tabula, and I didnt even think of putting in the increased duration. Instead I've been leveling pierce up.

Yes it is essential. That's why I'm using lioneye's.

for hardcore you might even want to wear a sibyl's lament on top of purity and saffell

Will it work if I go non crit spark?

My version will eventually go low life, so I can use disc/wrath. I freeze/shatter everything, which generates my frenzy charges through ice bite.
