T11 -> 4x Chisel Alch, roll till packsize*iiq > 2.3 (i.e 80% and 30%pack -> 1.8*1.3=2.34)
T12 -> 4x Chisel Alch, roll till packsize*iiq > 2.3, Zanamod if i have enough currency
T13-T15 -> 4xChisel, Alt+Regal (no point to roll here.)

Why do you say "no point to roll here?" Aren't those the MOST important to roll, to sustain the high tier pool, especially since those have the lowest drop-rate, purposefully by GGG?

I usually Alch n' Go on T7+, sometimes I slap 1x Chisel on a Tier 7, for luck. Tier 9s I Chisel all the way to 20% then Alch n' Go.

I Chaos Maps if I get really low IIQ/IIR Mods, like less than 80%IIQ and no PackSize/MagicPacks.

You are the best community ever guys. Thank you a lot for all your feedback.

I didn't know that I could have chisel my maps when they while 5% each. Most times I chanced my maps and run them blue.

I am working tomorrow but then Off for few days from Sunday. Feel like I will throw all my alchs away :D

Thank you !

For SC you should only be chiseling T10 and higher because a t9 map is only 2 chaos.

A Gorge is 6. (At least last I saw, it could be 4 now..)

The way I see it, if the 2-4 Chisels you spend nets you even 1 extra Map, then you broke even. And nothing is worse than not getting any Map at all...

t1-2= Chisel recipe
t3-6= combine
t7-9= chisel, alc and GO!
t10-12= chisel, alc, (chaos?), vaal, go
t13+= chisel, alc, chaos, vaal, domination mod

If I get any t1-6 unid'd magic/rare maps or maps with innate quality I save them for rainy days and alc+go (usually).

ALC every map you run. I mean it, every single map, including T1 maps. The amount of low currency you find, chromes, jewelers, and ALTS from selling rares that drop more than pay for every single map you will ever run.

I've honestly never run a map in my life that didn't earn more than an ALC.

It's completely insane when people tell you not to ALC everything. These are the same fools who have trouble keeping up their map pool.

The only thing you need to avoid is using Chaos. That will eat away your currency. Make a character that can run most map mods, and ALC everything and run em.

ALC and go. Chisel around T10 and above. Honestly though, you can chisel at will as well, it will always pay for itself in the long run to have that extra 20%. They are dirt cheap, so worth it.

Shouldn't ever be running tier 1s though. Tier 1 to 3 are for the chisel recipe.

No.

Maps in the level 80 to 82 range are rarely run relative to other maps. This is intended; these maps are supposed to be dangerous and special, and are also intended to be not sustained in the same way as other maps. Expert players can (and do) maintain 79+ map level runs, but within the range are forced to play a variety of maps. We do also see more hoarding of maps in this level range, where players often choose to not run these maps (we assume until they improve their character).

Thats from the development manifesto

You are suppossed to run t10-t12, t13-15 are "bonus" maps. Thats the mistake pretty much 50%+ of the playerbase is doing ;)

Gorge can be sold for 4-5 chaos, double the value of other T9s excluding arids so really no reason to even run it if your goal is to be currency efficient.

I will agree about chiseling gorge simply because its the best map in the game in terms of layout. How much better would the game be if more maps were gorge like instead of underground river like.

While I understand that - and thus don't like the many threads hating on the map system because tier 13+ is not sustainable - wouldn't you still want to get the most out of those "bonus" maps in terms of quantity and quality? Given that those maps have the possibility of giving you ilevel 83/84 items and sometimes tier 14+ maps it seems like a waste not to roll them for high values and a Zana mod like the tier 10-12 maps...

Yes, it was more a figure of speech, just meaning you should ALC absolutely every map you run no matter how low the map tier is.

The biggest mistake people make when mapping is not paying attention to the VITAL importance of higher quantity / rarity.

ALC's are dirt cheap compared to the added benefit in quantity / rarity.

Same with Chisels. Don't be stingy with the chisels if you want a good constant T9+ map pool.
