What can Scion do that stands out from the other classes?

low life mjolner best on scion by quite a bit.

I tried spec'ing each class, and found scion to be around 7 nodes cheaper when spec'ing extremely comparable stats.... depending on class of course.

She flat out runs faster than any other build. No other class can grab more run speed than her. (it's more usefull than you might think) Everyone else pretty much moves at turtle speed:(
Scion access to jewels through usefull stat and not another 2x +10dexterity is pretty good. Also easy access to either huge life wheel or huge ES wheel.

It's countered by VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY annoying voice actress and the fact that she never shut up!

Also, most armour MTX looks stupid on her

Funny. I actually like her blue cloths and voice acting, eh. And nice blond hair.

Give her another shot some time. They've drastically reduced her chatter in the last year. She comes off a lot more wry and cynical as opposed to her old, constant melodrama.

Sidenote: seems like they're always updating the voice acting, but I never see it in patch notes. Example: I haven't heard "find your own way inland, exile!" in (what feels like) months. It's now a class-specific line.
Any jewel-heavy build from early levels, as well any build with duration skills (SRS, Vortex. Any DOTs like burn, contagion, traps) as she gets to the 2x +45% duration nodes laughably swiftly.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.
Well for certain the Scion has a permanent scratch on her leg.

Not in 2.2! The Raider is the Ascendency class for that; you're virtually guaranteed about 30% (conditional) movespeed from the class, no matter which paths you go down.

Scion is de facto best IIR character, because jewels are only source of IIR on passive tree.

Cage fight.

Notice how all the other cages in the Sceptre of God are torn apart, and the one the Scion was in isn't? That's because the monsters were afraid of her.

Dominus was content to just put the other exiles on a boat, but he still feared the Scion enough to cage her.

I am really hoping for something jewel and passive tree related. Increased effectiveness of jewels, bonuses for number of jewels, jewel radius increase, bonus for number of keystones, the ability to pick up passives at the start of other classes.

I have the feeling the scion's single subclass will either be OP or really bad. It just seems harder to balance a single ascendancy class.
Keep PoE2 Difficult.
