value of items, help please

Only the summoner boots would at most catch a chaos orb or so...eveything else in my most honest and humble of opinions would be sold to the vendor.

I know for a while there people were paying up to 1 chaos each for rare tier 1 talismans. Not sure if they are still going for that now as I stopped selling mine and started using them.

You should checkout PoE.trade. Minus people who aren't using the forums to sell, that is where you can quickly find market price for a given item.

As a rule of thumb for swords, anything under 200 dps wont sell, this is sub 160 dps with no suffixes left for mastercrafting ias on it. Its a solid leveling sword and could sell for an alch in a HC league, but i dont know if leveling items sell at all in normal leagues.

The items you're showing us are what people normally get through play of the game. Anyone who is trading is trading for stuff that they wouldn't expect to get! So it's pretty much worthless to try to sell it.
There's a few exceptions to this. First is your boots. They're "build enabling". People who are playing summoners want those boots. They'll pay for them. Second is currency items. Your rare talismans fall into this category. People use them up. They don't really care what mods are on them, they just don't want to waste time farming for themselves. You can sell to those lazy bastards and get something you might prefer to use. It's "currency" because it's simply a fee to pay for a higher tier talisman. Your sword there is a "good enough" sword, but anyone using a sword is going to have one like it. When they trade, they're really looking for something that wows them. |
