No, you're being called stupid because you are trying to make a fundamental mistake in gaming and even the internet culture itself. Buying currency for real money(from 3rd party sites) is against the rules, and if you bothered reading the ToS and even the FAQ provided by GGG you'd realize that not only are you breaking the rules, you're also potentially(more like probably) compromising your account and open yourself to being "hacked".

There is a difference between buying currency in-game, as in trading with other players to get currency, either by trading other currency(such as chaos orbs for alchemy orbs) or items for currency(such as trading a yellow sword for a certain amount of orbs), and buying currency from 3rd party sites(which has been covered in the above paragraph). The fact that certain people use these 3rd party sites doesn't make them in the right, nor does it prevent them from being stupid themselves.

But if the currency is farmed by players who used their time to do it and have an excess of it wouldnt that be a good idea to allow those transactions and avoid the problems you guys are mentioning about the 2nd party sites?

If its already happening and its unavoidable why dont make it legit throught the shop or something?

You're not allowed to trade your items for real money, and since GGG wants you to farm or trade in-game for the orbs they will not sell them do you.
