Just let us see Talisman Tier by pressing alt when mouse hovering

Apparently the tier is told by the color of the string.

Tier 1 is white or grey thread.

Tier 2 is black thread (which looks like no thread to me but maybe because of the black background?)

Tier 3 has red thread.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
+1 It is rly annoying , there must be a way to check the tier of each talisman , i hope GGG will do something and implement it in the coming days. cross fingers
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you"
First thing i noticed too when upgrading one. Don't see much difference between the tiers.

Hopefully they add something that stands more out....
Yes please, let us see it. Why do we have to have this one little annoying feature to balance an otherwise interesting mechanic. It really would be ok to just make something interesting without the little jab in the side sometimes.
if there is some type of color code where you can tell could you add some other type of tell. Colorblind player here and I have no idea what tiers the talismans are that I am getting.
I like the having to work it out, but then I love jewellery and notice/appreciate details.

I like the idea of talismans, mechanic of bearing by monsters and sacrifce, but...

How GGG made using of these so underwhelming ?

1. To distinguish talismans in stash I must use 3 tabs for each tier, cause there is no tier:x command as for maps.
2. I can't use CTRL+Click to put talismans in circle
3. What's the point of using different talismans types in circle ? Why can't I just put talismans of one tier without restrictions ?

All this is just feels not done well, it required some more work before deployment.

It doesn't seem to be that painful.

It looks like there's a set of talismans in each tier so you'll know if you've got a Deep One Talisman or Lone Antler Talisman that it's a first tier talisman.

Looking at the wiki page for Talismans gives you a good idea of what to look for when determining which Tier a particular talisman belongs to.

It seems like the unique talismans don't show as much indication of which tier they belong to but I doubt there'll be too much opportunity for confusion since they are, y'know, unique items.

I'm wondering about the stone altars spawns... already have a stash tab stuffed with tier 1 talismans but only found 3 or 4 altars. Does anyone know anything about them?

there was no wiki page at the time of my post. Now I see that its the color of the string, nice! Still would be good for players starting to be able to know the tier by pressing alt.

and I cant tell exactly which tier rigwald's curse is since I can barely see the string. (well actually after seeing an enlarged image, it looks like tier 3, but the base is actually tier 2 =/)
Oblivious
