There's a little mistake here. In the greek alphabet, after ε (epsilon) comes ζ (dzeta) then η (eta) and then only comes θ (theta).

I'm a semi-beginner in PoE, started with the Warband league at its release. I didn't do much but I enjoyed my little dual totem witch. For this league I want to play either a firestorm witch or try a build with these news chaos and poison gems, or perhaps the Sovyn lazy pally. So I'll probably follow a guide and try to figure out how it works and then I'll try to understand how to farm in this game (or more specifically what I must farm to improve my gear).

I think this game is a really good game thanks to the mechanics of the passive tree skills and the gems and links. I find it far harder and complex than D2 and also there are almost one possible build for each skill gem. So my first goal is to enjoy and have fun!

I am stuck on the last hard boss on my sl 20 bloodborne run , I am torn between wasting time doing that or
doing this....

Ill probably level to 80 in about 3-4 days, play for an additional 1-2 weeks and then either get stuck on boring maps or make the huge mistake of partying with a crit build, get discouraged and go back to banging my head against a wall on bloodborne anyway....

lord knows i am not mentally apt enough to play the economy well enough anymore

This has happened i think 3 of 4 times in the last 4 major leagues......

I also think my over all enjoyment of this league will determine if i buy a supporter pack this time.
dont want to drop a bunch of dosh only to play the game for 3/4ths of a month....

b. Find out it is complete garbage
c. die
e. reroll a proper melee build
c. farm until i die
e. start at a. and repeat until i am bored and stop playing

1 play
2 sleep
3 repeat
4 quit

1. Play 10 hours today
2. Sleep a while
3. Play 14 hours tomorrow
4. Sleep another while
5. Play only 8 hours sunday

Probably won't bother with the new league and instead work on some new builds that I've been wanting to try and will be able to with the upcoming gems and the like.

I might go for 100 HC again, I reached 99.25 in Tempest which was my highest ever. If I RIP then no problem, I will reroll a different skill and have fun working on the challenges.

Actually, if there can be only one Ruler of Wraeclast, the current (and eternal thanks to how the packs work) Ruler of Wraeclast seems to be Patrick 'The Mann' Trang (unless I missed another in the credits). No forum tag for Once Ruler of Wraeclast though. Sometimes it's better to be more omega than alpha? ;)
