Zealot's Oath

Oh, I get it. I though it works the same way as ES recharge does.

So in other words, Zealot's Oath is useless?

if you want an es build that can take a bit of a beating and stick it out in combat then zo and/or aegis are strong options.

This is a vid of a ci witch with zo and aegis in merciless docks

its only lvl64 mobs, but this is a char with 38% block, 8% spell block and 5,300 armour, its not a 75% block 75% spell block character with 15k armour. I can have high block and spell block with high armour if i use my rumis flasks but in merciless docks i dont even have to bother, i dont think i use any flasks in that vid. I turn on bloodrage and you can see the es doesnt even budge cause we just outregen it completely. If you dont have aegis or zo youd just die doing that, the relentless damage would stop your recharge ever kicking in and youd die very fast. If you want to survive relentlessly pushing into packs in maps and getting absolutely surrounded then you have to have that something extra on top of basic recharge. If you pop a rumis flask on a build like that you could just stand in a pack like that in a lvl75 map, and if you then actually fight back and leech it feels very safe in high yellow/red maps compared to ci builds Ive played who only have recharge or leech.

Honestly I think the state of leech right now makes zo feel more necessary than it should be. Before you could do one or the other, now leech is just shabby unless you have insane damage and % leech. They said it should feel better against packs and worse single target. Well, that didnt really pan out, 4% leech now feels just like the old 4% against packs, but you have to stack 5 times as much leech to get to 4% cause its all 0.2% bullshit. So basically the old leech literally felt 5x better even against packs.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
