the issue is that you have to trade to remain in higher tier maps eg chisel chaos for packsize, i installed grim dawn yesterday and after logging into poe to be dicked arond by someone wanting a 5l pledge of hands who had no currency and didnt tell me for a couple of mins I shut down poe and went back to grim dawn.

No one forces you to trade to enjoy the gameplay. If you find it infuriating, just don't trade and simply play!

The game itself forces you to trade.... unless you are EXTREMELY lucky. If I don't give currency for items that other people have found, my progression is going to be much much much slower than if I had given currency for other peoples items..... I am very unlucky when it comes to rng.
