Path of Maps - Track your map runs

hey man! great tool. How about adding a "death" option to the app? Similar to "found master" you could add "rip" "dead to ... "

You'll be happy to here it's already available :) http://pathofmaps.com/help#rip-cmd

edit: well, except that you can't add a reason. Maybe just add it as a note.

ah yes, i forgot about the CLI, ty!
Just had windows defender flag the app as a trojan

"Win32/Codinx.B!cl"

Might want to look into that :D
"Fixing the endgame was hard - No matter how hard we buffed red maps, people would keep spamming Gorges.
So we turned Gorge into a red map"
I tested the exe file with virustotal, and there was only 1 anomaly. This StackOverflow question and answers lead me to think that's this 1 issue (out of the 56 antivirus software) is a false positive.

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/bf06107b5fb19dd7cc4dd1c4ebc9beedd53251b26f65209c26773f2584749185/analysis/

I also tested it with Windows Defenser (on windows 10 Home N), and it was fine.

You should be careful though, and run a full scan on your PC. While googling this, it seems like windows defenser has been wrong on which program the malware came from, but the point is, you might actually have it on your computer.

edit: Maybe try to delete the app completely, redownload it from bitbucket, then test it with Windows Defender again? I bet it wont trigger the alert.

Updated defender again and retested it, didn't proc the alert this time. Might've been something wrong with that version of the defender. Sorry for the confusion :D

I love this tool, being the sucker for statistics that I am.

But honestly, manually entering Zana missions (dailies or map encounters) drives me crazy.

Especially when it comes to unique maps.

Got an Olmec's Sanctum as daily today.
Entered this line into the chat: > start name Olmec's Sanctum iq123 lvl72 rarity unique
Got the "beep" for map start.

This is what got logged:
http://pathofmaps.com/maps/46424

The run appears neither in the stats nor on the Atlas.

Questions:

1. What did I do wrong?
2. Where does the log take the 6% quantity from? I've no way to specify the character via chat command, and Zana level is tied to characters, isn't it?
3. shouldn't we have a way to specify the character we run with as a chat command? :) I guess we need the char to get the map added to the Atlas
4. Do you perhaps have a problem with special characters? Like apostrophes or umlauts. Because I got a similar problem with Maelström of Chaos some time ago; when written with "ö", the map didn't even start. Used "o" instad and got this: http://pathofmaps.com/maps/43363

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this!

Thanks for the feedback. There seems to be a few issues on my end, what you wrote should have worked). I think that my parser just stops parsing at the '... Adding maps this way is less tested than the rest because it's a lot rarer. I'll fix these issues when I have some time!

Thanks for the tool.

I'd like to post some feedback and it seems you are active in this thread, so yay.

Few various issues I've noticed or suggestions/wishlist:

  • Adding the Perandus mod via the in-game CLI doesn't work. It just gives the 'failed to execute command' in red text. Works fine to tab out and click the mod in. This is true whether i use:

"
> edit craft per
---or----
> edit craft perandus

Both fail to execute in the client from in-game CLI (red message appears in the app at the bottom. Mod is not added in the mod area.) I can use > edit craft inv(asion) successfully from the CLI so it does not happen with all Zana map mods.

  • Suggestion: Zana Master Level should be editable from the GUI app or the CLI, or both. It's actually incredibly hard to find on the website itself, and would be way more convenient to be able to edit it from the app, or CLI command. I know it's not a HUGE difference, but if we're being stat lovers, may as well get 'em right and make it easy to do so.

  • Suggestion: It'd be nice to be able to sort maps on the site by chaos earned, or largest quantity of items dropped (that you tagged via hotkey of course. You only care about good drops and you only tag good drops hopefully).

Will have some more later, I know I thought of more but out-of-game atm

Cheers :^)

EDIT: Some more!

  • When searching by drop, there's no way to filter by exact name, it seems. For example, run a search for:

"
d(The Fiend)
---Then run a search for---
d("The Fiend")

You will get results without the divination card named "The Fiend", e.g. maps in which drops included The Consuming dark, Fiend Dagger. Even with quotes around the name as shown in the second command above, these results aren't parsed out.

You get identical results for both searches, so it seems quotes are only used for encapsulating multi-word searches by Note, e.g.:
"
Note: "18th Pale Court run, still no reach, neverlucky rubberducky BabyRage."
searches.

Quotes should imply exact matching, a la Google syntax. "The Fiend" should not match maps which dropped ONLY "The ... Fiend Dagger", but no divination card dropped. without quotes it's understandable as a result because it includes 'The' followed by 'Fiend', but searches in quotes should be exact matches with no other permutations allowed to set off a match.
You might see me in global as STFU_IM_----_OK :^)

Thanks for all of this! I haven't had much time to dedicate to PoM recently, but i'll try to get most of this fixed before Breach :)
