Pets that pick up loot

Now that we have loot filters, can GGG take a look at a microtransaction pet that will auto loot certain types of loot? So if it appears per the loot filter, the pet picks it up?

Sure, and after that they should add exp boosting pets and drop increasing pets. Totally not p2w, right?

Now that's pay to win any way you slice it, so it's not going to happen, unless everyone gets some sort of default pet.

If it was limited to picking up wisdom / portal scrolls I might give it a thumbs up :p

I personally don't like torchlight it just lacks any actual depth IMO.

The pet thing was kinda nice on dealing with inventory issues, but that is a large difference between poe and that game, inventory issues are designed to be part of the game, much like loot tension was designed to be part of the game.



What I would like to have instead of stuff that auto picks anything up is the "snap" feature of D3 where if you click on the ground all those materials in the area, for example you click on an ID scroll gets picked up. Either limit it to a per specific one, like you must click for every type, like you need to click on id once (to grab all of them), portal once, or have it pickup all but the "rare" currency like exalted, divine, mirror. Its a simple qol feature that would make me very happy.

Some automation isn't bad, like I mentioned above no need to click every single id scroll or armor scrap that drops, it doesn't actually add anything interesting to the game by requiring such clicking.
