So shouldn't one gear be 680nm (red) one bue (400 to 500nm)and the middle gear 10- 380 nm (ultraviolet - since that is the color flowers use for their secret signals to the bee illumanti)?

360 Degrees = 36162

36162 / 2 = 18081

You know, when reverse psychology achieves the desired results, it can hit 2 people in their equation, or rather, just one type.

Either the subject is stupid enough to be that easily deceived by the enforcer, like some sort of saturday morning cartoon meathead villain

or the subject decided to go the way the enforcer wanted him to because it was the way they wanted to anyway.
In this case, the enforcer will think themselves a genius who deceived someone, when the only person he's deceiving is himself.
