I think its better this way. That way people don't take the invites for granted and give the game a fair chance to enjoy. I would feel special getting an invite and enjoy the game even more.

The thing is that the number of inactive users outnumber the current number of active users, kind of a pain considering the amount of people that is looking forward to this game and is dying to play (such as me).

Do you think you deserve a beta more then them? everybody has a fair chance to get in.

We can just hope that the persons that get in will actually try to improve the game with their feedback, I'll certainly try to if I ever get in.
