Expand the story line
While I do enjoy playing POE, one thing I find lacking is the variety of areas and variety within the areas that you come across in your story line. It feels like a chore. Yes there are other leagues that will pop up now and then but that goes through out all 4 Acts, which from my perspective, makes it feel like a chore again, although you don't have to necessarily deal with it, that would leave you again with just simply progressing through the area. Going through all 4 Acts a couple times is already enough, especially when you have so many builds that you want to make. You go through the same sequence over and over. And yes I understand that your build will affect the way you play but for the most part you take the same approach. Build resistance, dodge attacks and spells, attack when you see an opening, repeat. Races also follow a similar manner. Now this isn't something that I expect to be immediately change, nor do I expect something amazing to come out anytime soon knowing how much effort you guys put into making this game. And I do apologize in advance if someone else had already mentioned this. Also I'd like to make another suggestion such as adding more content to late game rather than just doing maps and farming. I mean once we complete our builds... then, well, that's it... It'd be interesting to see different game modes that allow both high level and low level characters compete in an equal manner so if you ever feel like taking a break from the story line, you can just hop onto a game mode for a bit, and go back to progressing the story line

Also, having multiple story lines and to have the option to choose how you progress and where to would be interesting as well. As I've said, this isn't something I expect GGG to completely focus on or make their main priority, just a suggestion that I thought I should throw out there

Fix the problems with the game first, then think about adding things to the storyline. For example, fix lags and disconnects (which still are a problem) and fix the problems with the currently broken endgame (wealth/RNG gated content). Also, fix the massive FPS drops with skills like discharge, but also the general eye cancer once you play in a larger party. Waaaay too much shit going on on screen.
Really, this game does not need more content at the moment, it needs more properly working content. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

" This is a feedback forum where people sound off on what they would like to see. If you want the game fixed then make your own post and stop trolling someone else's idea. With respect to the OP's request, I think one way to help out is to place the story line "clickable" objects in smarter locations that are easier to find such as near entrances and / or exits to zones. Additionally perhaps some pathing marks could appear while you play the storyline by clicking on it for areas where there are several clickable objects. |

I was giving feedback and thoughts towards the feedback. Sorry if it did not match what you would have liked to see, but it is what I think about it.

" You may have an appropriate concern, but I feel your approach of nixing someone else's feedback is not the right way to do it. I am not saying that disagreeing with someone else's feedback should not be questioned, in some cases I feel that feedback people provide is in error due to their lack of experience or understanding of the game, but in these cases I like to try to point this out instead of just nixing their idea. I also feel that sometimes emotions can get in the way and we can come off differently than we intended once our post has been completed. |

" The lags and disconnects will always be a problem for the most part, every game has them. And as for party play that's to be expected when you have 3+ other people with you. I do understand what you're saying though |

Hi
I think each new league could add a new layer to the storyline. Example: warbands, why were they their? Where did they get matching clothes? Why didn't they drop lore?????...The ''warbands'' could've even dropped map fragments to their secret camp...The potentials,:( sigh. POE has a great story but it is not immersive enough, the current added voices speaking as opposed to be stuck reading a slow text is a definite step in the right direction to a future more lore easy player interests immersed POE environment. Sure graphics are one thing but having some great voice acting speech being presented to your ears can bring a wholly different suspenseful mood to the scene in the game instead of blizzard classic video eye candy sequence/cut scene. The thing is though POE has added quite a lot of lore since I first started and it goes largely unnoticed because it isn't immersive or connectively congruent with the current players situation in the game, example: what if the first boss hillock said a cryptic phrase as it died...etc... GGG doesn't have the finances to afford eye candy/ glitz and glam, GGG needs to use subtler methods: atmosphere and environment development to pique players interests in the lore itself also:P, sure players play the game but are they interested in knowing more?, players need to be sold on that ethereal hunger of wanting to know more about the games world, feel invested in it like their character is making differences in Wraeclast. Their is none of this and it becomes most painfully apparent by act 4. Act 4 is awesome but lacks the ability or encouragement for players to know about the story line or even the characters in the new town. I have always thought even by act 2: why don't they find it that amazing that I made it through that ape infested forest...or that I chose a gang leader over the town, etc...One day:) As the current state of this game is, Warbands was one of the most discombobulated leagues due to lack of story or proper explanation. cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women. Never dance with the Devil because a dance with the Devil could last you forever... -I thought what I'd do was,I'd Pretend I was one of those deaf mutes- Nullus Anxietas:) Last edited by Finkenstein#5181 on Nov 1, 2015, 3:39:35 PM

Warbands are bandits. I don't think there is a lot to be explained.

" https://www.pathofexile.com/theawakening/leagues There is not a lot you need to understand. Some exiles just want to watch the world burn. Warbands are traffickers, pirates, bandits, whatever. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Warband <- Search that page for league specific uniques. You can infer a little more about them. As always, the game gives you lore in less explicit ways, but it's there. For example: " http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Redblade_Tramplers Is this Molten One an unknown deity? Is it a Beyond Demon (like Tzteosh, Hungering Flame)? We know for sure some Redblade are religious fanatics.
