Macros?

If we own a programmable mouse or keyboard such as a g15 or DeathAdder, are we allowed to setup macros with them? Nothing elaborate. But maybe binds 2 keys together? Like when I click X for example, it will hit 1 and then 2 for me? Or do GGG consider that cheating?
I doubt that it's considered cheating but, I don't see why you would really need to use macros in this game. There aren't to many active skill slots to begin with, you would be taking the fun out of the game.
not for me. its for my nephew. he is young and not very good at gaming and i want to simplify it for him as much as possible until he learns. but i dont want to get his account banned while im at it. but i was thinking of like a "panic button" that would just hit all his potions at once. lol

Having a shift+left/right click tied to a single button for certain spells would be quite useful for example lightning strike
I'm interested in this too. Currently im using a "/oos" macro, but if its not against the rules, im interested in some kind of alternate spell casting too. So once it cast spell X,then Y, then X, then Y, then X ... This macro would be quite usefull for the elemental equilibrium node.

not anymore ;)

/oos has been disabled for a few patches now..
Things with "increased" and "decreased" in the tooltip are additive ... where as "More" or "Less" are multiplicative ...

No.
You could play a summoner, that's as close as you can get to a necro.

/oos was removed because:

a) It's bad if you spam it all the time.
b) It griefs other players as a required part of how it works. The customer support consequences were high.
c) The game will always be slightly out of sync as a result of how physics works. This is acceptable as long as we resync much better than we are currently doing. /oos allowed people to have a fight with no apparent sync problems, then type /oos and see that the corpses shift around so they complain about how bad sync is. The whole point of the prediction system we use is to be a little out of sync in order to hide latency.
d) Its removal forces us to improve resyncing code in the near future.

I am sorry if this post is a little aggressive in tone. As Damien mentioned, I'll be posting very detailed specifics about exactly how this all works and how we plan to fix it soon! This has gone up a lot in the priority list now that the servers are behaving better.

ROFL

Had to login back in on my phone while boarding my plane just to laugh at your lack of reading comprehension.
