the beast
" Not really. Explain yourself a little more, my head overlooks subtlety. I'm a simple man. (I'm feeling I'm starting to repeat myself in this thread, XD) Add a Forsaken Masters questline https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2297942 Last edited by NeroNoah#1010 on Oct 13, 2015, 12:54:29 AM

" It's not about the narrative intensity, it's about mindscrews. Also, I wouldn't say it's the exile fate, it's more like the exile finds awful things and it has to kill them in order to survive (because the exile is hardly heroic, except maybe the templar). " That could be reversed putting a little more intriguing stuff at the beginning, although I would say the Karui carvings are a good start. " I agree that Beyond was mostly something done for the hell of it, but the thing about lovecraft (ish) done well is that makes you wonder about what there is beyond our understanding of reality. That's the reason people read into it, not as a way to understand the main storyline. Add a Forsaken Masters questline

" who does even have energy to read the lore ingame? id like it if it was more in the game than just carvings on a stone and a voice telling a story anyways i was just curious what the beast was, seems its just a large meatball under the ground full of inner organs and eyes and having crystal skin but idk.. Set sail for epic fail

" Probably a lot of people, though mostly only the ones who grew up before Twitter or text messages ruined people's ability to read anything more than a couple lines at a time and made people so lazy that they feel the need to abbreviate three letter words all the time... |
