My Fellow Templars....would you EXALT this?

I see why you do more damage

More elemental mods on your gear

Plus I've got LMP and Reduce Mana on my LS Link

So one of my supports actually LOWERS LS damage, and the other doesnt add any at all.

Makes perfect sense why your tool tip says more damage.

I exalted it btw. Got 31% crit chance increase.

Worthless since Im RT spec.

Im thinking of trying again for a 6th. Go for broke right?

dont exalt it again, and use mana leech with LS not reduced mana.

Exalt it, no matter what the others say. (replying to the ORIGINAL POST)

The reason is that you are missing one prefix and one suffix from that item, and you have hit only physical % -prefix instead of physical % accuracy -mod which is combined.

You can get extra 85% physical damage on that, which would effectively turn it to one of the craziest axes around.

You also have a chance to roll increased attack speed -suffix.

I've spent roughly 8 exalted on my gear, and can't complain.

Why would people SIT on the orbs if they actually can use them for upgrades? Sure, it's always the gamble - but that's what makes Path of Exile fun to play in the first place.

People even build items from MAGIC ones via regal + tossing 4 exalted on them, IF the previous exalted roll has been something they wanted. It's hard, and you will waste plenty - although you still might get something back by selling the gear.

I've been rather lucky, since I haven't hit any super terrible rolls with exalted yet. Worst was probably the +18 ES roll on the leather belt, but at least I am a templar and have nodes for extra ES.

No.

There are 3 prefixes that effect physical damage in the game.

1) Flat physical damage (eg. 1-4 physical damage)
2) Physical % (eg. increased physical damage by 124%)
3) Physical % WITH accuracy (eg. increased physical damage by 60% AND +124 accuracy)

On that axe there is:

There's flat physical (prefix #1)
And physical % (prefix #2)

There is one more physical prefix to hit, which is combined physical % WITH accuracy (prefix #3)

There aren't any other physical rolls you can get, but since this weapon does NOT have any accuracy, there's physical + accuracy -combined mod to hit.
