Is there a way to run 2 instances of this game?

This is not to exploit anything, but rather to rush another character for leveling.

I made a templar 30 atm and had a few better ideas and wanted to rush myself like I used to in d2.

Was wondering if there was a way to and if was ok to since i think GGG wouldn't mind at all if I run legit like i'm doing
You can always run 2 or more of any game with sandboxie.

But have to check with the devs if its cool.

ok im cool with not using it if they say no, I respect.

but how to ask them? lmk thanks!
No need to use sandboxie or whatever. Just open the game twice and voilà! IDK if its against the ToS though.
Yes you can just open the client twice, and no it isn't against the rules though there has been a statement that slightly contradicts this:

- During the pre nerf alch recipe qq, GGG's justification for stash tabs not being P2W was that anyone can have unlimited tabs by creating mule accounts, and that this is intended. For that to be the case, it can't be against the rules to have two copies of the client open, otherwise their statement about being fine with mule accounts was false.

- During one of the botting threads, they also mentioned that they might alter it so only one instance of the game can be open at a time per machine. If that happens, expect the "stash tabs are p2w" qq to reappear.
Iam just curious if there is a way to do so under steam?
sorry for pull this thread from the dead ;o

You can have multiple instances only if you control each one individually. Any automation is ban worthy.

yes I want that for muling ;o so no mutliboxing or whatever. The problem with steam is, that i get an error message "The Game is already be running"...how to fix that?

Get rid of your Steam POE client install and download from the GGG.

You may also email GGG support and see if your existing account can be unlinked from Steam somehow.Actually try this approach first.

You can only have ONE PoE account per account on steam, and you CANT run the same PoE account twice in any possible way (no matter on what machine(s) they run).
So you either need multiple steam accounts, or poe account(s) not bound to steam.
