make an auction house

No to an auction house but...
YES to an in game store where players can list their items and what they want for them, then other players can either pay it or not.

Would eliminate playing the trade spam game for hours on end.

Every time I read these forum I get pulled more and more towards the right wing in political views. I really hope some day stupid people will be castrated by law to save the human race from itself.

Funnily enough people do that already. Mainly in SC afaik.
Check the party board sometimes, it's many people with descriptions like "WTB <whatever" or "Selling q gems: x, y and z"

You can even filter the party board to find things you need. It's amusing how it works so well as a trading board.
I've always said they should just have a second board much like the party board where people would be able to put up their stuff. The personal aspect of trading and the bartering would remain intact, it'd just make it easier for the guy selling an item and the other dude who wants it to find each other.

EDIT: Make a trade board (trade version of the notice board) at least where people could list their wtb or wts advertisements? It doesn't necessarily have to be an auction house. Add a word filter too so that finding what you are looking for would be a lot easier. Having to track the trade chat becomes quite tedious after some time.
