As far as I know, I'm one of the few summoners who's able to do this.

the trick is to always be moving, and strategically place your clones far away from yourself to draw aggro away from you. Use the unlimited Evangelist spectres to your advantage, too.

Hey there, I lvled something close a few months ago, and though I didn't go as far as you did, you might want to consider Bronn's Lithe. Not because of its recent upgrade, but for the +2 lvl movement gems. You'd lose the hp/res/big ES of a torso, so I'm not sure it'd fit your playstyle, but it did work great for mine ^^' (only works for blink arrow as mirror isnt tagged movement), the +2 lvl helped a lot.

Bronn's Lithe is definitely something I wanted to try! I tested it and I don't think the +damage with movement skills affects the clones' damage, but the +2 movement gems is certainly nice. I would use Bronn's Lithe with an Alpha's Howl and tweak the tree to go full evasion / Acrobatics.

The only issue is that, in the evasion form of this build, you can't reserve all of your mana (with EB/MoM it's simpler). You probably would need to carry around a mana flask, which isn't a huge deal, but could affect the consistency of the build somewhat.

hey would the Static Electricity jewel benefit this build at all or would it not apply to the minions?
No, Static Electricity would only grant damage to yourself. The only nodes from the tree that will benefit mirror arrows, are the same nodes that would benefit any other minion.

One change I'd like to make for myself: I'm not a fan of zombies, mostly for thematic reasons. I wonder if you think you could get similar functionality out of something like animate weapon / guardian, a skeleton totem or more specters. Too much of a sacrifice?
That's perfectly fine. Just replace Raise Zombie with Animate Guardian.

I used to use a Guardian before I used Zombies, these were the main items to get:



It also saves you 3 skillpoints (You can spec out of the Puppet Master node).

If you watch my Hall of Grandmasters video you will also notice that I use Spectres instead. You have several options for spectres; there is certainly room in this build for Bones of Ullr and you can have 3 spectres.


You can put the spectres on a defensive 4L, or even summon Revenants and put the spectres in an offensive 5-link or 6-link. Your clear speed will probably be even faster if you do the latter.

The main reason I removed Spectres/Animate Guardian from this build is that I hate the process of resummoning them when they die. Zombies are much easier to reset if they get blown up by a random map boss/exile (although Animate Guardian generally doesn't die to most things, except maybe Malformation Piety). However, if you enjoy using them, then go for it!

Ahah! Awesome. Can't wait to try that. I don't fully understand Cloak of Flame on the guardian, is it just for the damage reduction?
