You can make macros that perform a single action. Anything that performs multiple actions, or repeats, or does anything on a timer, is out. The common (permissible) uses of macros are to quickly type commands or messages in chat, or to quickly log out to avoid death. What you suggest is not allowed.

Now hang on, I don't Macro myself but why is this disallowed? it's an input from the mouse, not messing with the client in any way.

I assume the reasoning is that it gives a gameplay advantage over people who don't macro.
GGG stance is this, you can find a bunch of other posts saying the exact same thing. Examples of their implementation of that stance are here.
