Ele stuff, probably gg, or at worse, vendor crap

yeah, no clue if it's worth keeping or not tbh, would love some tips from anyone who's familiar with ele stuff



I tried to pick the best of my pile, ele dps 213, 207, 248 from left to right

Only one worth using is Brimstone Fang (~230 edps with attack speed craft + 7.44% crit).

That being said good elemental crit swords reach way higher dps:



So don't get your hopes too high.

all the ele things i've managed to salvage.. never used any of it!

I'm not really sure if ele damage weapons sells for as much as phys ones?

Let's this "I'm phys in all fields and wat is dis" thread live a bit longer. So I dropped this:

(213 ele toolpit, soft says)

My thoughts- what if I crafted "prefixes can't be changed, then scoured that crappy sufixes, then crafted multimod and finally WED, ias and incr. crit chance?

p.ss I don't do this for currency, trade, etc. I just thought I'd be nice to have good ele weapn. I might force my unrespecced ele marauder into dual ele rapier build, for example

Rule of thumb for selecting good ele weapons:

0. All good elemental weapons are one handed.

RT:
1. Base APS 1.5~ (1.4 is fine if attack speed rolls 20%+)
2. Attack speed 15%+
3. 200+ Edps 25%+ wed or 350+ Edps
4. Open suffix for weapon range

Crit:
1. Crit Multi Base weapon (foils except bleed on hit ones)
2. Base APS 1.5~ (1.4 is fine if attack speed rolls 20%+)
3. Attack speed 15%+ (mastercraft is ok if it has crit allready on it 25%+)
4. 200+ Edps 25%+ wed or 350+ Edps
5. Around 7% base crit at least, mastercraft is ok if rest of stats are good enough
6. Crit multi (massive dps boost also, quite hard to find on crit ele foils since it means 6 good stats), mastercraft crit multi is an endgame option also.
7. If you can't get crit multi, a good accuracy roll (200+) is great also.

WED on elemental swords is massive, my Dread Thirst > Brood Saw, even tho it's like 100 ele dps lower than Brood Saw (also Brood Saw has more crit multi), this might vary from build to build however remember that crit multi and wed amplifies your buffs and auras also whereas local elemental damage won't.

What a GG crit elemental weapon looks like:
13-166 lightning damage
50-87 cold damage
+42% weapon elemental damage
+27% attack speed
+38% crit chance
+38% increased critical strike multiplier
