Elemental resistens + damage reduction vs endurance charges.
I do think as well that armor was nerfed way too hard.

Um. High level defensive marauders are already immortal. They don't need a buff in survivability with a higher damage reduction cap.

" this is because of 2 things, general mob damage nerf in the latest patches and immortal call being OP. having a fixed damage reduction value would also make for a much easier way to balance evasion, and mob damage by: adding extra damage reduction at approximately 1/4 of value armour rating making dex builds less squishy and now you could balance mob damage having fixed values for reference. since you can get a max point for highest armour/evasion eaven in hibrid armour gear. its a matter of calculating, total armour value bonus from passives + gear mods + base armours for higher tiers and balance down to the lowest. edit: the reduction cap should only be reached by using shields.
