HNC Protocol Violated

I just had this happen as well, I just wasted currency on a zana mod when it started happening, not to thrilled knowing I just lost that currecny

I just got into Act 2 normal while rerolling my Tempest character and when I tried to go to the Riverways, this error occurred and I thought it was a one time thing until it happened a second time. Hopefully, GGG will fix this issue ASAP!

just happened to me as well, just hanging out in my hideout. can't get back into game now without it happening again.

I'm getting the same error when I alt+tab.

We are getting this when we try to enter The Crematorium on Cruel difficulty, but it's not happening if we enter The Slums from town.

Went into a gorge an rip hnc protocol error game litearlly unplayable every log in attempt i get this error now

So I open a Village ruins map, first time completely freezes my computer, forces restart, now after reboot I go back in the game, my portals are still there, so I'm like, ok, at least my only 79 map isn't wasted, I enter the portal and complete freeze again, HCN violated? What's going on? I've never had any issue like this before in any map/zone, so now what?

Is this going to get fixed? Can I have another map for when it is fixed????

Also happening to me.

D3 been putting in behind the scene fixes for the past 5 hours, decided to play POE, have played uninterrupted .. until this HNC error.

Now D3 forums are up in arms because they can't log in because of a new error.

Games are falling apart.

Hopefully no rollback. Got my 2nd and only exalts in WB in the past 5 days and multiple uniques I have never seen before.

If it matters RIP-a-reeno on Waste Pools(?) map

Problem solved, relogged with another character, opened a new map on map device to unload previous map and logged my (previously) bugged character. Everything working by now.
