Experience gained on maps

I have no idea how it's working now, but it's really weird.

Experience gained on maps can be extremely different.

I've made some observations (94 lvl char) on different maps (both level and rarity) and it's clear to me that the same map levels can gain really different amounts on experience.

How it's possible one 75 normal map can give ~1.3 mln exp, while other only 800 k?

What's even more weird experience gained on maps seems to be not affected by map rarity...

Tell me now, whats the point of crafting maps if on higher lvl (without MF) we get poor drops and none bonus in experience?

I've noticed only Masters and Strongboxes affect on experience gained.

Really is it faster to level up on normal maps? Cause its more safe and exp per hour will still be the same?

It also matters what kind of monsters inhabit the map, what packsize it is etc. There are alot of factors determining xp gain i guess. So yes, some maps might give double the xp another one gives, even if they are the same map.
If the magic / rare map has no packsize or bonus magic monsters, then indeed it is faster to level on normal maps because you can probably clear those faster. IIQ and IIR do not directly affect experience gained. The main reason to go for high IIQ is to find more maps, extra magic monsters and packsize give both more maps (statistically) and more experience.

IIR I personally generally ignore on maps.

And it simply shouldn't be like that... I love games where I know how fast I can exp. How many areas I have to clean to get level and so on (or how many monsters need to kill - Tibia FTW! :D ). Now I need about 222 mln exp to lvl up and about

170 75 lvl maps
OR
270 75 lvl maps

to clean to gain it. Depends if Boxes and Masters will be there or not...

It's RNG. Its the part of RNG which I personally am totally fine with. Unless you remove masters and boxes, you will not have the same experience from every map.

It's RNG, you get different mob density on each map. On top of that, also number of magic mobs, packsize, all of this affects how much XP you get.

Item rarity on map doesn't affect XP. MF does not affect map drops.

Of course it's RNG, but can't you really see it's absolutely dumb?

If you compare two i.e. 75 rare maps having different mobs (even with the same map mods) it's more likely you can gain almost the same experience even if one map can be easy as hell, and other completely hard. And still, you wont get much more experience than on the same normal area...

GGG focused on items quantity and rarity based on map difficulty and totally forgot harder monsters should also give more exp.

I'm quite sure there is no "should" or "totally forgot".
It's just what you want it to be.

It's all RNG, and it's all relative.
With all builds available, how would you even judge what "hard content" is?
One of my builds cannot do "no regen", another cannot do "physical reflect", another really hates "no curses", one laughs at "blood magic", one is completly unplayable with it...

First: as I wrote before I've made some observations.
Second: something like RNG does not exist. It's Pseudo RNG to be more specific. Pseudo says all. I don't want to gain pseudo exp. This way on the same map I can gain 1 mln exp or 1 exp, cause RNG 'said' that...

Why don't GGG make RNG to set discounted prices for microtransactions if it's so cool?

I really like this game but it's annoying watch them adding new content why basic issues haven't been adressed... With every update and new league new content is added to Standard league and it will be harder and harder to make really high level cause more dangerous enemies will be added, while, due to penalty, exp gained is poor, and exp lose on death is extremely huge (unless u're the one who drops only 80+ maps... now I'm losing exp gained on ~22! 75 lvl maps - solo maps, cause due to another dumb GGG idea I can't exp in parties cause every ranged char has more dps than I. GGG do You really want tank-chars to play solo? I've heard you do all you can to force people to play together... What for? to get 2mln exp/hour while solo you get 6+).
Few rules to get a fair amount of xp IMO:
1) Do not die;
2) Run map of at least (char level)-13 to be efficient (as far as you have such maps);
3) Roll mods that increase mobs density (pack size, sea wtches, more magic...);
4) Roll 3 additional magick packs in every strongbox.
