Since I play warbands this time around I wanted to make a crit based build. This is what I came up with. Works pretty well and can do pretty much all contend. I lack the lvl 82 maps to test all bosses but I killed palace Dom with it as well as Atziri.

Pros
-HC viable? YES! You are as tanky as the the Axe cyclone if not even more since you got 24% Block and you could add Atziri's Steps for spell dodge. -can do all contend solo -honestly pretty cheap if you go budget version -really good clear speed -tanky: I have tanked double courtyard bosses with this Atziri tripple boss and more -you actually are a tank since big mobs are vacuumed in and stay with you unless they have flicker. Cons -has a hard time with reflect maps -expensive in endgame (~25ex for a final setup) -in a strong groub with sick dps can be hard to actually keep the PC up. Gear Note: You need mana leech on at least one piece of gear or jewel. Since this build genarates Power Charges with knockbacks and that can be quiet anoying the core item for this to work are Empire's Grasp.

My normal mapping setup I switch out the chest for Kaom's depending on the map we run I don't really need the armour but I like the Vaal cyclone setup for certain maps.

You could go Mara as well , it may even be the better choice but I never made a Duelist so I chose him. There are certain things to note about the tree. I minmaxed around a lot to get to this final form. If you want to stay mana based you need the 6 mana cost reduction nodes Versatility and Unrelenting plus some jewels with the stat on them. I went with 4 Jewels so I could also get faster PC's with knockback jewels. Diamond Skin is needed because we are using up to 4 uniques on full DPS gear and capping resists is pretty hard at that point. The Staff points are self explaining and should all be picked. Finally to note: Dexterity is and was my biggest enemy. Note: I am at a point where I am at almost 70%crit with my cyclone which is good enough to knock everything around me towards me so I only use one knockback jewel right now. in my 70-85 levels I had 15%knockback on my jewels which helped a ton.
Why knockback? just for the clear spead. It helps a lot jumping into a pack and pretty much dragging them along as you go for the next pack. Sidenot: I have been thinking about getting the +1 to unarmed and mele range jewel but honestly I don't think it will make a big difference. Gem setup

On certain maps you need life leech so swap around what you need and don't need 6l Cyclone-FasterA-meleephys-Fortify-addedFire-IncAoE/conceffect/inc.crit.DMG 3l + 1: FasterA-BM-LeapSlam this is for safety in -mana reg maps when you run out of mana somehow just leapslam on something and leech it back up. The +1 is Herald of Ash and since I don't wanna use it on BM the item should not be linked. 4l: Cwdt-IncDur.-Enfeeble(or Vul)-Imortal Call 4l: IncDur.-Blood Rage-Vaal Haste- Hatred Optional 4l: Vaal Cyclone - LgoH - Life leech - incDur. optional 6l: Heavy Strike - Multi - inc.crit.DMG - melee.phys - added fire - melee phys on full (this scales 120k-150k dps but I did'nt think it was needed so I sold my 6l chest) Bandits

" Well the knockback reverse makes it easier to clear and it works for the knockback on all Skills. Since this build uses cyclone as its main dmg source Without the gloves your clear speed becomes pretty bad. | |

and what about using carcass jack + daresso salute+ warlord jewel (+1 mele range) to increase our AoE clearspeed?!?!+scion Aoe Node (with intuitive leap) i tried it and the clear speed is really noticeable, but u dont get any armor at all
and i just cant sustain the mana cost at all.... i dotn know how u do it.... even with a mana leech gem its not enought...i think il just go BM also when willl the mana cost be revamp is it with talisman league OR ascedancy release?
