Futuristic ARPG

So I was sitting here, reading the PoE forums, minding my own business. Then, all of the sudden I started wondering, what if there were a game with all of the elements of my favorite games (Diablo, Diablo 2, BG, BG2, Planescape: Torment, ect.) with a similar camera angle and engine, but set in a futuristic environment. I began to wonder if there already is such a game, and how I could have missed it. So I ask, is there one? I know darkspore is somewhere along the lines of a futuristic arpg with a similar style to diablo, but it doesn't seem quit what i'm looking for. I'm talking an arpg in a post-apocalyptic environment, not post-apocalyptic because of humanoids, however because of demonic powers. Leaving the world full of modern weapons, yet merged with magically imbued weapons of medievil times, and perhaps the combination of the two. Anyways, i'm beggining to ramble now, and i'm wondering if anyone has had a similar idea.

Post-apocalyptic world destroyed by demonic powers, with futuristic and magical modern/medieval weapons (guns and swords) sounds a lot like Hellgate: London. But that plays quite a bit differently, as first or second person view.

I break it out occasionally but I can never stick with the game too long, only ever went through it once. The game flopped a bit but meh

Not exactly that, but check Arcanum if you like BG and Torment. Steampunk setting with a science vs magic thing going on.

ah I forgot all about arcanum, never got a full playthrough on it, but I remember it being quite enjoyable, thanks for the reminder Senescal.

yah, i've read up a bit on the secret world, looks interesting for sure. I'm more interested in a top down diabloesque futuristic arpg, secret world top down camera angle persay, with hack'n'slash gameplay.

Might as well play Fallout 1 and 2 as well if you're going this route.

Though in fairness, I always turned the combat to 'Turn-based'.

Greed, Space Siege, Harbinger, Restricted Area...

Too Human meets your criteria I think, but that game didn't sell well and I honestly can't reccomend it.
