What are you guys talking about ? There's alot of retarded shit in this game but poorjoy's is just awesome. Best unique map. Besides Death and Taxes which is awesome too.
And it's perfectly doable as melee if you utilize the right curses, flasks and most importantly endurance charges.

I consider comparing max-roll-damage-rare-map-then-doubled-it Poorjoys to Death And Taxes (an actual unique map), a kind of blasphemy.

it's a fast XP map if you have a curser it's very useful for power leveling in the mid 80s

Map is dangerous, and I have to pay attention, instead of gear-checking everything - nerf it!

I'v run it quite a few times. It's pretty good experience for the level map it is. I do believe it was meant to be challenging so if you find it difficult then something was done right. I'v never died running it but I'v definitely had some close calls.

I think I am also tired of the new community trend. Is it my imagination or were people less whiny a few years ago?

Never had many issues with this map, but i agree it miss a bit of unique feeling. Very nice for a bit of exp boost and to try to get some nice jewelry anyway.

It's a great map and a nice way to benchmark your character.

In my opinion it is perfectly fine.

I don't like Poorjoy's all that much, but I can run it deathless no sweat.

Did as melee ages ago when I was like....80+ somewhat? Never faced Core Malachai and I doubt I would ever want it.
