All GGG's credibility down to toilet...

I think they will nerf the mastermods now with the same reason why they removed the CWDT-enduring cry setup or reduced mane.

No been in the fucking game for AGES like if they nerf it that will cause a SERIOUS amount of backlash and ''trust'' down the drain.

Well, it doesn't look good if indeed it is true that an employee of GGG is giving out recipes to friends in a guild. It has the appearance of impropriety in spirit if not by the letter of the rules and regs.

I'm still struggling to find the source for a GGG employee giving out the information (how master mods and scours work now) to a player.

Does anyone have anything that isn't hearsay or deleted?

@ephetat hybrid craft was removed because it let to to much power-creep to early in a league, trivializing content and making items worthless by comparison way to early in a league's development.

This was a balance concern and needed to be addressed.(if the league's where to survive that is, and i do believe we all enjoy a league that is not dead after one week?)

@druga this is nowhere near the strength of eternal crafting. In the best outcome it still requires
triple-yolo exalting after a guaranteed result is attained.

That's light-years away from a comparison with a guaranteed mod per mod addition to an item.

It increases the odds of a favorable craft, but it doesn't demolish the chance of a rekt craft.(which eternals did do, there was no way to brick an item with eternal crafting)

You can also add master mods to force a favorable exalt. With the new T0 mods, this will produce better items than previous Mirrored items. There have already been 2h weapons that achieved this.

If the concern with hybrid phys was trivializing content early in a league, all they needed to do was make it a higher tier master mod, say level 7 or 8. Not remove it entirely. It still wasn't a T1 hybrid phys.

1) yes you can, but again, this is nowhere near as good as eternal crafting is. As long as a brick chance remains, a lot of solid crafts will get rekt in the final stages. And the force method will also be a currency sink while yielding average results at best.(win=win as a sink)

2) i don't disagree with this observation and i would agree with re-introducing this mod at a lvl 8 master for example.

I don't care a lot about character power once the "main race" is over.(roughly 2 or 3 weeks in a league)

A lot has changed between the removal of that mod though, so we can't really pretend to know the in-depth reasons for not re-introducing the modifier or taking a different route. Maybe they where content and nobody was really making a big fuss about it being gone.

Also while writing this, there is a slight difference between the +3 craft for example that results in "solid power increase" and the hybrid craft.

1) +3 requires more then one lvl 8 master, and requires the currency to do all the modifier crafting

2) hybrid craft requires 1 master (hypothetically at lvl 8? ) and could never cost as much as this +3 trick sums up to. It would be weird for this modifier to cost 2 exalts or more, would it not?

Personally that's what i would try then, raise it to lvl 8 and make it cost like 2 pure exalts. Then it will only be utilized on really favorable crafts instead of flooding the market with benched up weapons.

Also no harm intended, simply pointing out the flaws from my perspective.

Really there is no possible way you can make a case that this bench crafting compares to eternal crafting. It simply is not as strong.
