Despite this game being "competitive" When i trade, i always overgive, which means, if someones buying an item off me for lets say... 3 chaos, i give them an item, and like, 5 stacks of alts because, why the fuck not. if its not illegal, then go for it :D youll probably get no answer, but in the end, you're giving more then you're practically taking...

I allways say thanks. But usually the message won't get through as the character i first wrote to is offline. Anyone care to explain how this shit is happening?

It's all polite if guys would greet and chat if not interested in trade.

I whisper guys with no answer, then after 3 or 4 whispers yes with breaks between I get added to their ignore list.

All I need is sorry "doing xyz" will trade in x time is also cool.

I've even found some guys refuse to trade on "standard" now that the economy is stuffed.

well not as bad as the one guy i met, he just told me im a retard for no reason. I ignored him and hope not to see him ever again.

I usually give it 2 tries. First is always "Hey, I'd like to buy your "Gear of Awesomeness" you have listed for 1ex."

More times than not I'll get a party invite within 10s. If the person doesn't reply, I'll usually wait like 5 minutes then ping the person again saying, "Hey, I'm interested in buying your "Gear of Awesomeness" for 1 ex, do you have a moment to trade?"

If there is still no answer, I move on. Lately, I've been getting a response to that second one with a " Hey sorry mapping, I'll shoot you an invite in like 5-10 minutes once I finish this one." And as the Forum Title says, always say Thank You. I understand people are in a giant hurry but it takes 3 seconds to be cordial.
