nitpick: ice crash does not use the off hand, but the tooltip does not take that into account, you can use a wooden spoon in the offhand and murder your tooltip dps for very little actual dps loss

likewise, there are skills like hypotermia that are simply ignored by the tooltip dps.

so a 5 link ice crash with hypotermia doing 8k tooltip dps would have more effective dps compared to a 4 link ice crash, without hypotermia but with 9.5k dps , if the target can be chilled.
