I think GGG should chill with new leagues release and extend the current one meanwhile build a stable client with better optimization for mid-high end machines. I don't think that players will complain if league will be longer then expect to improves featured leagues gameplay. one way to help yourself is to reduce party sizes to 4 or less. not the ideal solution though. i wonder if they could dynamically reduce the particles dependent on the party size. especially for those skills of other players that block my view onto my char. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! Running a 290X here, and those gifs remind me of my gameplay so much when I'm in partys like that. Sometime when it's too much of that my game even crash. Meanwhile, I have mates who run on old 660 Ti's and have absolutely no lag in partys like this. Makes me wonder??? Is PoE optimized only to run on old-medium-end graphic cards? Yes, i have a friend with GTX 550 TI, he never had any FPS issue on POE, he lough at me for buying 450$ GPU and have 5-10 FPS issues :( Game is probably bad optimized for Mid-High end GPUs..
