Constant lag spikes

I'm a bit new to this game, I've been playing for about 2 weeks, which was long enough to get completely addicted to one bad ass smooth running game, and ready to throw some serious money towards the devs for making such an awesome game for free as soon as payday arrived. At least that was the case up until about three days ago when I find myself having the same problems as everyone else here. Checked my 100mbs isp, tried other similer heavy bandwith games (Diablo 3 & Borderlands 2) on my high end desktop, and everything is running fine on my end. I tried different servers, uninstalling and reinstalling, neither worked so I went into options (UI) and switched to "predictable" from "auto" as many have done before me and instead of everything seizing up every other second I am now blipping back to where I was a few seconds prior every 15-90 seconds which is a little better, but not the lag free game I grew quite fond of. I read that many spoke to tech support and they are claiming the problem not on their end, I think this almost three month old thirty-five page thread says it is. I could see myself settling into this game for years, and spending quite a bit of money on it too, but if this isn't addressed and fixed soon sadly and regrettably I'm going to have to go elsewhere for my daily gaming fix.

maybe the devs answered many times already but the servers are so laggy nothing is shown here yet xD

samesame; to gateway looks ok; but as soon as packets are in networklayer they loop from cris dallas server back to the gateway several times; not sure ggg can do something about it

I have had a read through this thread, but there isn't a lot of timely information to go on. I suspect many people here have disparate problems with the same symptoms.

have played for years with no problems. same isp, same computer. haven't been able to play for more than 5 minutes at a time the last week. here's my stats, not sure what to do/ who to contact.

This game is almost unplayable in last few days. Seriously...GGG must Do something....anything. I love this awesome game but If I cant play it..well. GGG will lost loyal customer some day.

Same for me. Living in Germany. Old ping (1-2 Weeks before) is 14-30ms, new ping is 30-50ms - but it is ok. Only the permanently lags (4-20 seconds) will the game unplayable for me.

Don't ya hate it when you're grinding away to get to the next level and you die from sudden lag & lose a hard earned 10% ?? I sure do. That's what happened this morning & since then the game's been unplayable with crazy 30-60 sec lag. Everything else moves along fine with my internet connection, so I know it's in the game. Maybe because it's Sunday and everyone's on, but it's pretty frustrating. What's the solution?

Lag spikes as well as Failed instance connections.

Here from the EU (Amsterdam)
I have constant lags. Don't know if/how that shows in the statistics.
EDIT:
I think it's actually my university connection that causes the spikes.
