What's the point of using Zombies/Spectres when you could go pureblood SRS and clear everything faster.

Would MOM work with this build or would the aura res mess it up? Are there any good alternatives to ball lighting for the cursing+triggering elemental prolif?

What's the point of using Zombies/Spectres when you could go pureblood SRS and clear everything faster.

Monsters don't actually target your SRS, they get hit by projectile attacks and can block the ones that are flying towards you, but a monster will never directly target the SRS, this meatshield is great at keeping the player safe, and being safe means you can more easily cast SRS in difficult situations.

If you have a build that absolutely demolishes everything dps wise, I really don't see why so many people want to just boost the dps even more while sacrificing defences to do it. Staying alive is important in path of exile. I am only taking one skill point that I wouldn't take if I'd be pure SRS also, the 1% life regen.

MOM would really mess up things, when you're taking damage you quickly want to summon SRS to block projectiles from flying to you and killing what's killing you, if you're losing mana from MOM then this can seriously mess up your gameplay.

It's possible to do EB + MOM but I honestly don't really see the point of that, you'd make ES protect your mana, and MOM would hit your ES for 30% instead of your life, but that's already happening with a hybrid build. The skill point investment seems not worth it to me.

the generosity is only lvl 1 so you actually lose a few % effectivenss of aura's, that's kinda made up for the fact you get +1 to gems, but the end result is that you basically take a chest with very low ES and no resists to get 20% reduced mana reserved. I'd only consider it if you're always playing in party and want to seriously buff your other party members, I don't find the tradeoff to be worth it for solo play, you'd end up being able to run one extra aura, but I'd rather take 1000+ extra ES from having a better chest. I definitely don't think it's a bad chest, but I feel like investing 10c in a really good rare chest is probably a better option for solo.

Solo : not a fan
Party : good chest

I see that in the video you only run haste and discipline, how do you plan to run hatred if at all? do you plan to run hatred when you drop discipline?

I don't believe you are able to see an aura icon in the top left if it is being linked with generosity.

Just re rolled a new character to try your build. Liking it so far.

Since I already have a 5L +2 fire gem staff, would you suggest I get a +2 helm instead?

Also, how do you gem?
