About the Leech-Nerfs to Mind- and Blood Drinker

Seems like yet another case of GGG balancing around the 1%, a habit of theirs which drives me absolutely nuts. How are primarily self-found solo players, or more casual players supposed to play the game at all when content is balanced around players with game-breaking gear?


Its not about 1% of players that live in game. Its about few top builds that can instaheal even on atziri with quite regular gear. They are trying to nerf them, but not destroy. As a result some less effective builds stop working at all :(
If you want leech to be less infinite sustain your going to need to redo leech as a mechanic in general. Make it where the more/longer you leech off something, the less you leech over time until it slows to a crawl. Each leech "counter" is attached to individual monsters. It resets when you die or fight in extended times at your leech cap.

So you can still facetank boss until a certain extent, and because you don't want to leech too much and have it leech really badly when you need it . You want to dodge/just regen other mechanics like pots/ect.

As oppose to nodes increasing leech rate, they will increase the leech cap per target.
