What is the error message when you crash?
Unless I missed it, no one has posted it. If it is a generic error, then pull the real error from the Windows Event/Error logs. |

I had same the problem.
But it's already solved. probably you clicked "Gate Way" in first menu. my English is not good. Thanks for reading to the end. |

So the source of the crash (as others have indicated in this thread) is when the client attempts to auto-select a gateway.
zaq90106 has half of the solution that worked for me. Editing production_Config.ini to say "gateway_auto_select=false" under the [LOGIN] section won't actually help unless you also include a line explicitly specifying which gateway you want to use, e.g. "gateway_id=WashingtonDC" These two things combined seems to have fixed the issue for me--thanks for the pointers in the right direction :) |

Okay, so for us idiots that don't know anything about computers- Where do I find the production_Config.ini so that I can make the necessary changes?

" Check your "C:\Users\[your windows username]\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile" directory. Coincidentally, that's also where you put loot filter files. |
