act 4 piety abomination help thread

1. You guys are supposed to dodge the laser, by running around piety clock wise. You can even slow her spin with arctic armor for example.
2. Even if you get hit, you won't get one shot unless you have built a class cannon. The bleed can be dispelled with a Staunching flask.

I found that using quick movement skills like leap slam, whirling blade, flame dash, etc can help you avoid the laser.

The only issue I have with this fight is where she is going to state her lazer. From what I can tell, its random where she will start it and if she starts it ontop of you, welcome to a quick death.

That's wrong. I am pretty sure she always starts her laser 90°ish counter-clockwise from you, so even if she doesnt shoot the beam you should always be running clockwise to avoid running into it, which would seem to you as if she spawned it right on your head.

You can dodge the laser, of course, but I couldn't help getting hit sometimes anyway. I had around 2.5k health+ES fighting her on cruel. I guess that's squishy, but nothing else in the game one-shotted me like that without even a stunlock first. 2k+ damage in one frame on a non-crit hit? Something doesn't seem right.

Point is that I killed Koam and Derresso without much of a problem, pop into the next zone and ran headfirst into a non-end-of-act boss brick wall without any prior notice that my build apparently sucked. It doesn't feel right.
