you could also add in a low lvl chaos golem - gives you 3% phys dmg reduction and a distraction. if that really makes sense is another story depending how often your cwdt procs and what golem you normally rely on if any

unfortunately this does not work so well.
Testing this I had 6 frenzy charges and then cwdt+phase run. The phase run procs and you lose all frenzy charges. Then phase run says 13 seconds buff but as soon as you attack a monster this turns to 2 seconds. As you can see, a 2 second buff is definately not worth losing a full stack of frenzy charges especially now blood rage only grants you 25% chance of frenzy charge on kill. The only way I could see this working is if u used the new gem which grants 40% chance of frenzy charge on killing a frozen enemy combined with blood rage and inc duration on phase run. This would give you ~ 3.5 seconds phase run and then you could build the frenzy charges back up quickly. |

I use phase run+cwdt as dps boost on a melee and as escape/damage mitigation on an ice shot chin sol ranger. It works well in both ways. Imo incr duration by charges or by support is optional and not really needed

i've been trying it out since 2.0 but it just felt lackluster or/and not worth spending 5-6 frenzy charges for it. as a ranger you can just blink/mirror your way out and as a melee you just whirlwind/leap away.
at best, it's very situational. |

" I think this will actually be very useful in the hc leagues. Losing frenzy charges for a great opportuniy to get away from a group of mobs without being blocked by them may be a lifesafer. I have been killed several times e.g. by a group of devourers boxing me in and not being able to get away so think i'll try this. Just need to find a balance for CWDT... lvl1 is tempting as it will proc this more often but losing frenzy charges too often will be annoying. You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

its bloody fantastic support characters and support cullers
just get conduit and throw it on a cwdt duration set up and you have a much much much safer culler as a result. its not as useful on actual frenzy characters because more often than not frenzy characters would rather be killing things over running away so the duration of phase run would be wasted. |
