Disconnecting every 10-15 seconds
Hi, I tried looking for this problem on forums, but seems like nobody else reporting it yet. Am I the only one getting disconnected every 10-15 seconds after getting in game? I played PoE 1.3 without any connection issues, my internet is good and Im not getting disconnected in any other MMO games. I tried switching between London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt gateways, they all show around 30-40 ping for me. I even switched to US gateway and still same problem - you just login, start playing, everything freezes, yet you can still move your mouse cursor and click options menu, then poof back to the login screen getting message "Unexpected disconnect occured" or something like that. I found some post by GGG about Network Troubleshooting, I completed all the steps and my internet connection seems fine. Anyone else having this problem? Im still hesitating contacting the game support because most likely they just gonna say it's my ISP problem, which is not. Be kind and share your experience on this issue please.

i get disconnected every 3 or 4 instance i whant to join getting difrent error messages
i have a post with my problem here in this forum i dont have any problems in beta or with my network connections it all start after i start play last night the awakening :( |

Go to launch options of the shortcut if you are using steam or if not just go to target shortcut and type in without >"< "--nosound" "-gc 2" and lower all the details, Hope this helps!

Same problem here: disconnecting after few seconds/minutes (gateway Frankfurt). And when I am ingame, there are bad lags while playing. So the game is unplayable for me.

Had a chance to play for like 2 hours today with minor like 0.3 sec delays/freezes happening from time to time, and then the disconnecting spree started again, every couple seconds lol... Looks like a very promising start for THE awakening... :D

same : a lot of disconnect.
- no bug message - no lags - no problem before.. since i play this new version i m disconnect in map and it s very hard to play, level up... i wish we ll find an issue. |

I have similar problem.
It started last night, after several hours of playing the game. When I start the game, most of the time I can log in and pick one of my characters from the list, but then, during character loading, the game disconnects, with the information "Unexpected disconnection occured". What is worse, I can't immediately start another attempt at connecting, because my game does not fall back to login screen - it falls back to character creation/choice screen, but without user interface, so I have to restart the game to try once more. I had a chance of playing for an hour or two today, but I guess I was just lucky with my attempt at character loading. I have tried Frankfurt and Amsterdam gateways, and experienced the problem on both of them. I have also tried loading the game without sound, just a moment ago, and it was successful - although I did this only once. I have played PoE before, including a couple of days before the patch, and never had this problem. |

Hey i think i found the problem from certain ISP's
