Finally. Some of those guys have been cheating forever lol.

I was in game when I saw that.

BTW that last guy that got banned donated quite a lot of money. Maybe a more lenient temporary ban can be assigned. I.e. a month ban. Then if he does it again, then permanent ban.

I don't disagree, but the guy did contribute by supporting the game. It should count for something.

On the other hand I bet GGG has spent way more than the thousands of dollars he gave in manhours trying to get rid of the cheating.

No, it really shouldn't. Because, if it would, you'd have to deal with the "pay 2 cheat" scenario and I'm certain we wouldn't want that.

Absolutely not, if anything he probably thought that having spend money in the game he would be immune to any ban, he should not ever be unbanned or given a slap on the wrist.

If GGG decided to do something other than ban him it should be to remove every bit of gear he has and resetting all his characters to level 1...but given how easy it is to have an alt account with gear to cover him i'd still say no.
