i am very satisfied with this build and i was planning to play it
however, as i was just reading the patch notes i found the following:

"Leech on weapons is now local (it doesn't affect your other weapon)."

Does that mean, that the stat sticks, in that case the doryani's catalyst do not apply their life leech to the gemini claws anymore?

Not at all, and what you're describing has been the same since Day 1 of the Beta. First of all, this only applies to PHYSICAL ATTACK DAMAGE leech from my testing, and second, you don't rely on that measly 0.2% leech all that much, but rather on a Life Leech gem mostly on a 6L, and Flasks + Life on Hit from the Claw before that.

The Doryani is there to boost your DPS, mostly.

Am I wrong to assume this build would work great with Wild Strike too?

Why do you specifically choose ranger as a class? It seems to me a tree like this


Gives more damage and easier Life nodes, the stats on this build are


BTW, I am happy about criticism on the tree I posted, I made it for a Wild Strike build (I'll only take Point Blank extra)
