You need Japanese language pack on your comp as well, it's an introduction to prevent non-JP users to play the game. I believe it was due to Russians calling the Japs out on global chat.

D2, Titan Quest and DotA. I think Titan Quest is good, because it has more character customisation than D2, but I think D2 is a generally better game: better storyline, gameplay and replayability. I think though the most important thing is a thriving multiplayer, which is why I play DotA.
