Fixing Ai for Zombies

Zombie Ai, needs major hull of revamp.
1) Attack speed is terribly slow. 1 or 2 second delay before they even start attacking the target that they just walk up to, they just stand there first before they attack and when they attack it takes ages even with multi-strike and passive tree nodes takes forever!.

long-list i can add, but i will cut-it real short & simple for easy work :).

copy paste the code from summon raging spirits on Ai. [ "Same"Ai Targeting, "Same" Attack Speed and etc]

give them like new werewolf animation type attacking fury to match attack speed code.

easy programing, best solution to fix your zombie problem


on that note, you can fix your summoning d/c issues, just copy animate guardian code place it for spectre and zombie minions so they don't die until killed. even if you disconnect and etc they are still there. problem solved

I've seen my multistrike skeletons do better. I just pop em by the enemy and watch them rip the guy. I even considered not using zombies anymore as they just die, are only 4, and don't do that much.
It'd be cool to have a caster minion. Like the spell totem, but that follows you!
As a long time summoner using lv21 zombies, I'd have to agree. They need some improvement. I don't know what it is, it looks like they're having trouble detecting enemy mobs. They'd just walk up to the mobs and stand there 1-2 seconds before attacking. What's even more annoying is if you don't tell them to attack, they'd ignore the mob, even when the mob is right beside them. SRS does not do this; they attack everything in sight and beyond. Zombies need to behave more like SRS.

I agree as well, they should be aggressive to everything on you're screen...and their AI needs work, I too have seen my guys just stand there, it's usually not all of them just one or two have a re-re moment but it happens...And sometime they don't do anything, I went afk last week to answer the door and didn't port back to my hideout thinking id be fine with 10 zombies and 4 spectre's guarding me...boy was I wrong, got beat to death my skeletons...freaking skeletons, they must of just stood there...wasn't happy! lol

I'm very glad with the responses, thank you for your personal feed-backs this is great for changes in the game, even thou I don't have any part of ggg. but this is what I use, as data for keyword, when a lot of people can relate on a issue. reading alot of responsive emails between trolling and etc, keyword relating is what I use, to make changes in my own games.

even thou forum post is small. it is great 3x people on the first forum page can agree on information
