The Zana problem (hacks, dupes, bots,RMT,rich get richer)

yeah, how about just remove all expensive things and put Mjölner/Shav's as quest rewards.

If someone has worked hard in the trading/flipping game and has some currency, why should they get penalized if you don't wanna spend the time to do the same?

Don't blame Zana, i love her.
d:-D*
It takes 1 week to get 15 chaos? More like l2grind issue.

Well let me ask you this ,does going zana mods on all your maps sound fun?How about crafting items you need? If so then it does affect you and you should be upset that you are missing out on even more fun then you're having.

So what is special about zana?Zana is one of the best things added to the game ,allowing you to experience past leagues one your map. This can cost many chaos to exalted even ,this causes a casual player to be able to experience one map(5-10 min) a week well other players are able to spam it outright.

GGG says only "hardcore" and the underbelly should experience these fun things,I say no!!

DUPES
Duping has been a huge issue with path of exile since day 1 ,and no matter how many times its been brought to light the majority of the player base refuse to belive it exists. The last time I'm aware of a significant portion of the player base became aware was when using stashes and your hideout to dupe them. GCPman was one of the reasons this method came to light.

This allowed players to turn 1 chaos easily into a mirror within a hour ,and then turn that mirror into hundreds! GGG sadly has yet to go on a mass duping hunt allowing many players to create as much currency as they want to participate in the fun zana has to offer.

HACKS
Map hacks has been the must common method of hacking. One might think "who cares if they can clear faster" But its much worse than that .For a long time since strong boxes and vaal zones were out these hacks could detect which boxes were in your map and if there were any vaal zones. This method allowed people to spam instances untill they got a carto or GCP box ,or vaal zone.

This would ultimately prove to be the method GCPman used, but not before the hideout-stash method was revealed to the public.

Look at the exchange rate for maps and gems/gcp to currency and you could see how quickly you could become rich doing this.

BOTS
This one is pretty basic and ggg has taken steps to reduce it in exchange to hurting casual player but I feel like just saying "there's a big botting" problem sums it up .

Because of all the above problems you can easily see how it creates a black market of RMt in which for $1 you can buy yourself 15 chaos! Yes for what it takes you over a week to grind is only worth $1.

As a casual player your forced to grind for a week for .50 cents worth of currency to have one zana mod map.Talk about messed up

rich

So this one is pretty simple ,those who are rich are able to invest their currency in high demand items, flipping, predicting legacy, and crafting.

This leads to the casual players just feeding these "hardcore" players currency and items so that they themselves might be able to have a fraction of the experience.

In the end we have to ask yourself who is GGG really balancing the game around and why?Because its sure not the majority of its player base.

you clearly don't remember the very angry post Chris made about banning hackers/dupers etc. Just because you don't actively see XYZ accounts banned doesn't mean they aren't doing anything about it.

Also Flipping can be done by anyone, how do you think people get rich in the temp leagues, do you think GGG goes, lets drop Willy, Helman and Guhdda all mirrors?

Get your head out of the proverbial and actually do some research on the state of the game before posting such drivel.
Also what does zana have to do with anything?? if I can farm 200c in a league sure I can run some zana mods, I fail to see your points.

You have cited an example of 1 player, yet you ignore the fact GGG issues a large numbers of bans, your argument is ill informed badly structured and lacks any real substantive sources.

so to conclude you're wrong.

TLDR: DO your research

yes zana's mods are too expensive for most players. i don't think i used any of them in torment league or rampage league.
I'm a very casual player myself BUT I don't really face currency issues.

You just have to know which items to keep, how to price them and you REALLY should trade and sell items cuz this way you do the most "money".

I can't say I miss out on stuff.

It'll sure take a while until one gets decend gear, good clearspeeds and such but thats true for allmost every game thats NOT P2W when you start. ;)
Trying to satisfy the whole PoE community is like telling a nymphomaniac to only have sex once in a week.

I think that's fairly accurate. :')
