GGG needs "breaks" , they need it so they can have more time for their patches , they need it so they push players take a rest and avoid getting burned out.PoE is that kind of game where you just destined to get a little burned out if you don`t take a break. Um are people really using burnout as a reason for league downtime? You know you can not play the game even when a league is going right..... With more leagues you would have mods you like and don't like and can take a break during the ones you don't like. What is wrong with that? Grindy ARPGs like PoE need some downtime to allow their players to refresh otherwise burn out definitely occurs despite the multiple build options that exist. During down periods find something else to do in-game. You say you aren't good at hardcore? Well, there you go, that is something you could work on. Play some other games with your guildies. It's kinda sad that so many people think Standard is lame... Like all ur wealth and what u've worked for eventually ends up in Standard. Maybe GGG should make standard more fun...
